Key Objectives

Thinkproject approached Onhold Studio to enhance their client-facing communication channels through the use of professionally recorded greeting and voicemail messages. Their specific requirement was for these messages to be recorded in six languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch and Polish. This would ensure a seamless experience for their diverse international customer base. In addition to the welcome and voicemail messages, they indicated the possibility of incorporating additional IVR routing messages, though these were yet to be finalised at the time of the initial enquiry. The challenge for Onhold Studio was to ensure that the voiceover messages reflected the same level of professionalism that Thinkproject is known for, while delivering a multilingual experience that resonates across different cultural contexts.

Our Solution

Onhold Studio embarked on this project by liaising with a network of skilled, native-speaking voiceover artists who could deliver the required messages in each of the six languages. The project began with a thorough review of the scripts provided by Thinkproject. Our team ensured that every word was appropriately translated, considering the nuances of each language to maintain the intended tone and clarity of the message.

Once the translations were approved, we coordinated recording sessions with voiceover artists who were not only fluent in the respective languages but also experienced in delivering corporate messaging. Post-production was a key phase of the process, where our sound engineers worked to refine each recording. This included ensuring that the audio quality was pristine, and the pacing of the message matched the original English script. During this stage, a technical issue was identified with one of the recordings, which contained an undetected high-pitched sound. Onhold Studio immediately addressed the issue, investigating the third-party recording studio involved. The professional voiceover artist was invited to re-record the message at no additional cost to ourselves or the client, ensuring that Thinkproject received a flawless final product.

Results

Upon completion, Thinkproject received a set of polished and professionally recorded voiceover messages in six different languages.
