It might be difficult at times not to recycle your content, new ideas aren’t always easy to come up with. Clients don’t want to read the same few posts about how they desperately need your service. So why not paint a more colourful picture and show them you’re actively engaged in a wide array of public interests.
Something as widely celebrated as Halloween may be an obvious marketing opportunity, but look to the lesser known holidays and you may come across something even more enjoyable like International Beer and Pizza Day. You have the chance to make something fun and out of the ordinary. There are so many opportunities to market every day of the year and have fun doing it as you won’t be creating your typical industry specific post.
Now, I’m not saying you need to fill your social media pages with pictures of your staff hungover on a Tuesday at 11am with the leaning tower of pizza boxes waiting to collapse on an unconscious employee. However when something like international coffee day rolls around, it can be good to give your staff 20 minutes to sit down with a brew, and have some time to talk and connect. Be sure to share pictures to remind clients your staff are people like them that appreciate these gestures. Post what time you’ll all be back in action and just like that you’ve gone from pushing a sale to simply reminding them you’re still here.
The years not over
